Tantrum Doughnuts has reopened after being forced to close due to the UCI Cycling World Championships.

Tantrum said they attempted to reach the shop for three hours and were "devastated" at having to close for what was meant to be a "busy and exciting week".Luckily the shop has now been able to reopen after being given access as promised. Posting on social media, the business said: "We’re in!! Our Gordon street shop will be open today, we were allowed access during the designated delivery time as promised. We also got a sort of apology from GCC who admitted mistakes were made when blocking off areas yesterday.
