El Santo is celebrating the country's cuisine in what they've dubbed as 'Viva El Peru', bringing classic Peruvian dishes and matched cocktails to the table for hungry customers.
El Santo, on Miller Street, will be celebrating the South American country from Friday, July 26 through to Sunday, July 28 which is also Peru's Independence Day.
A special menu will include traditional dishes like Salmone y Maracuja, a ceviche featuring salmon, passion fruit tiger milk, soy sauce, cucumber, radish, red onion and crispy sweet potato. There’s also a mild Peruvian chill to try - Pescado Del Dia Con Miso – cod marinated in miso, served with mashed potato and edamame.
"Peruvian cuisine is certainly less well known than that of many other countries in Latin and South American, such as Mexico and Brazil, but it is well worth discovering, notable for its big flavours, spices and fresh, indigenous ingredients.
