Taylor Swift cake pulled from competition after hands shaken off on the way

Elza Baldzhiyska's dreams were crushed after Taylor Swift's missing hands forced her to quit the Cake International contest in Birmingham.

Elza Baldzhiyska was hoping to win the Cake International decorating contest with a baked good depicting the pop star in a white sequined outfit from her Eras Tour.

Award-winning cake artist Elza Baldzhiyska fell apart with her sculpture Is it a cake or is it a queen? Baldzhiyska tried to craft new hands from what appeared to be icing, but she and the show organisers decided to pull it from consideration. It would otherwise have gone up against a life-sized sculpture of Queen Elizabeth I in a gold dress, created by sugar artist Emma Jayne Cake Design.
