You might have assumed that, post-Hiddleswift-precipitated PR debacle, Tree Paine would have banned Taylor Swift from ever setting foot on Italian soil again. Apparently, though, time heals all hashtag-inflicted wounds, because Swift is back in bel paese: specifically, during a break from The Eras Tour this week, America’s tortured poet laureate decamped to Lake Como with a certain tight end in tow, checking into the 16th-century Villa Sola Cabiati on the grounds of Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
” Over the course of the couple’s soggiorno, they’ve been papped having candlelit meals outside their Neoclassical villa, strolling arm-in-arm under the moonlight by the water’s edge, and kissing each other in the rain during a water taxi ride to Locanda La Tirlindana . For the latter outing, Swift veered into Versace territory, accessorizing her Alaïa minidress with the Italian house’s Gianni Ribbon Flats and Medusa ’95 Tote.
