In her upcoming Netflix film, the singer reveals how she used to starve herself, and says she used to think it was normal to feel like she was going to pass out at the end of a show.reports that she ‘would make a list of everything she ate, exercised constantly and shrank to a UK size two; she is now a size 10.’ The musician also reveals how derogatory comments about her body in the media would ‘trigger’ her to starve herself.
’, she says that she still isn’t entirely comfortable on talking about the topic - but that it made ‘sense’ to include her story in the film. ‘I’m not as articulate as I should be about this topic because there are so many people who could talk about it in a better way,’ she says. ‘All I know is my own experience. And my relationship with food was exactly the same psychology that I applied to everything else in my life: If I was given a pat on the head, I registered that as good.
