A takeaway on the sofa or a home-cooked meal always goes down a treat but if you’re fancying taking your mum or mother figure out for Mother’s Day this year, community reporter Keimae Blake has found what she believes to be the perfect tea room - and it won’t break the bank...
The beautifully decorated tea room is perfect for a Mother’s Day treat but, of course, it's also an ideal spot to come to on an ordinary day, too. With flower chains draped over furniture and hanging from the ceiling, Biscuits and Brew looks like something out of a fairy tale.Quaint, small and elegant - the tea toom has a lengthy menu so whether you’ve got 20 minutes to spare or longer, there’s plenty of lunch favourites on offer.
Sipping as I browsed through the menu, many dishes popped out to me: eggs benedict for £8.25, maple bacon banana bread for £8.55 and avocado and egg for £8.25.
