Rebecca Joynes, 30, denies six counts of having sexual activity with a child

. The allegations concern two teenage boys who she met through her job as a teacher at a Greater Manchester school.

She was later suspended from her post and was eventually discovered to have fallen pregnant with a second boy, Boy B, who she first met aged 15 when they allegedly kissed one another. By the following Monday the police had become aware of an "allegation" that the boy had spent the night with a teacher. Police attended the school and a safeguarding officer allegedly noticed the boy take off a belt.

The boy alleged they had sex in her flat and that he "found the situation weird". Mr Allman said: “She said to him several times ‘no one better find out’" Mr Allman said: “Remarkably and in all honesty quite brazenly, this was all happening while Ms Joynes was on bail to this court." He said that part of her bail conditions was an order to not contact any child under the age of 18.

Mr Allman said they had sex, and that Joynes told the boy it was "almost impossible" for her to get pregnant because she had polycystic ovary syndrome. The boy claimed they went on to have sex at "numerous times in different places". The boy claims he "repeatedly" told her they didn’t want to continue with the relationship but claimed she became "controlling".

Day 2: Wednesday, May 8 On the second day of the trial jurors watched the video interview boy A gave to police officers. Boy A told police Joynes had given him 10 of the 11 digits of her phone number and he worked out the missing digit to first make contact with her. Boy A said he expected to do what had been planned – go to the Trafford Centre and back to her flat. He said: “I remember her saying you might as well come to her apartment, and I said, I may as well stay. After picking the youngster up, Joynes allegedly then drove to pick her dog up from day care and dropped it off with her parents on the Wirral telling the boy she had arranged for them to have it overnight.

He added that they then went into her bedroom and started kissing before undressing and began having sex with each other. He told officers that Joynes repeatedly told him "no one better find out". Before dropping him at home, he said the friend’s mum told him: "I'm not going to tell your mum this time, but don't do anything this stupid again."Later that day, he said he messaged Joynes on Snapchat to say he was concerned that his mother "might find out". He alleged that she replied: "She better not find out that it was me."

The mum said she later got a call from the deputy head teacher at the school about allegations involving her son and Joynes. She went to the school and spoke to her son who said it was "just a stupid conversation on group chats that got out of hand".She said she later got a phone call from her son’s friend’s mum who admitted she had previously lied to her about Boy A staying at her house.

He said the conversation remained friendly, that Joynes was "nice" and spoke every day. Describing what happened after a number of months, he said: "Then one day I was taking the p*** and said something along the lines of 'get your t**s out', she said 'not tonight'." "I sat on her couch and said something like 'am I not ever going to get a kiss?' and we just started kissing. And she said something like 'I don't know if I want to do it until after you've left school or turn 18', or something along those lines.

"I never thought about meeting her, I thought she wouldn't do it again after she had already done it and been caught. I didn't think she would do it again after being arrested." He told detectives she had "planned a date night", putting rose petals around her apartment and hiding notes for him to find, which led to a baby grow with the words: "I love my daddy to the moon and back," written on it.
