Police are currently at the scene at Gambetta high school in Arras, northern France, and it is understood the man has been arrested in connection with the incident, the Mirror reports. Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "A police operation took place at the Gambetta high school in Arras.
"The perpetrator was arrested by the police."
