She was called to a disciplinary hearing in November 2018 after pupils told their headteacher about a string of incidents between September 2016 and May 2018, but quit beforehand. One told the panel: ‘She started his canvas again for him and finished the canvas completely herself. The exam board, AQA, later found Ms Hurst had committed deception. She has now been served with a classroom ban by the Teaching Regulation Agency, which she can apply to have reviewed in July 2023.
