Prominent activist and advisor Sally Rugg is taking her boss, teal MP Monique Ryan, to court.
The case was filed late last week and it centres around an alleged breach of general protection under the Fair Work Act.
The details surrounding the allegations are yet to be made public and it is likely not much will be known until the initial hearing on Friday due to new federal court rules restricting the release of documents before the first hearing. Ms Rugg is known for her work with the activist group change.org, the Kevin Rudd-led push for a Murdoch royal commission and has worked closely with the Greens.
She was a chief campaigner for the Climate 200 group before she became the chief of staff for Monique Ryan.
