A team of four contestants outsmarted Paul Sinha, also known as The Sinnerman, on The Chase, winning a total of £20,000.

Paul Sinha shared a brief statement after being beaten by a team on The Chase . Host Bradley Walsh introduced four new hopefuls, all eager to leave the show with a cash prize. First to challenge Paul Sinha was Neil, a 50-year-old pensions consultant. He got off to an impressive start, correctly answering eight questions in the cash builder round. Despite The Sinnerman's low offer of £3,000, Neil stuck to his original amount and successfully made it to the final chase.

Next up was Tim, a fish farmer from Derbyshire. Despite prematurely answering a question before Bradley had finished asking it, the 60-year-old managed to accumulate £4,000, reports the Express . Like Neil, Tim opted for the middle offer and secured his place in the final chase. The third contestant to face The Sinnerman was 23-year-old Sally, an assistant accountant. She correctly answered four questions and followed her teammates' lead, choosing the middle offer for the head-to-head round. Even though Paul was just one step behind her, Sally maintained her cool and joined Neil and Tim in the final chase. The last contestant was Helen, who also correctly answered four questions in the cash builder round. Rejecting the minus offer, Helen stuck with her initial winnings. The 35-year-old breezed through to the final chase, ensuring a full house against The Sinnerman. In the gripping final chase, the team secured 17 correct answers. Despite host Bradley Walsh's concern that they might have fallen short, chaser Paul tried to catch them. Paul seemed to falter during the final chase, getting several questions wrong. The team capitalised on this with several successful pushbacks, leaving The Sinnerman with five unanswered questions as time ran out. As a result, each team member took home £5,000. After the game, Bradley spoke to Paul about his performance, to which the quiz master conceded: 'Not my best performance, but you played really well
