Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has tearfully shared that she felt she was 'not good enough' amid her husband Derek's health battle after contracting Covid in 2020
Kate Garraway made an emotional and searingly honest appearance on This Morning on Thursday, September 14, as she opened up on 'feeling like a failure' amid husband Derek's health battle.
Kate has been open about Derek's journey and the effect of it on her and their two young children, and her most recent appearance on This Morning was to promote her second book about the experience, The Strength of Love. Kate bravely said: "I don't want to make this about my own health, but it was one of those moments where I thought well I am just now properly failing at everything."I didn't think I was being the best advocate for Derek.
Kate went on to credit ITV for its incredible support during that time and the whole time since Derek was struck down with Covid.
