The retailer operates 86 stores across the country
Ted Baker owners have filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, putting stores and hundreds of jobs at risk. The news comes 18 months after the high street retailer was bought by ABG for about £210m, delisting from the London stock market, Sky News reports.
The scale of the store closures and job loses is not yet clear, with sources claiming that the retailer will continue trading during the process. The notice of intention was filed on Tuesday, March 19, by No Ordinary Designer Label, which owns Ted Baker, to appoint Teneo Financial Advisory as administrators.
There is one Ted Baker location in Nottingham, in Bridlesmith Gate. The retailer operates a total of 86 stores across the UK.The retailer isn't the only brand on the high street currently struggling. The Body Shop announced in February that 82 of its stores will close in a phased process.
