It was revealed that Hatcher made two transactions on her parents' card - one for $503 and another for $926.40 .While being interviewed by police, Hatcher admitted to stealing the card and making the transactions.
She went on to say she used $100 to buy cocaine and gave $400 to her friend to give to someone to kill her parents, according to the affidavit. Hatcher said that since the murder was never carried out, she gave the other $900 “to a black male to kill her parents,” police said. Sgt Fred Jones of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said investigators were trying to figure out a motive.according to ClickOrlando.comHe added: “There’s nothing that your parents can do - being you’re grounded, your car's taken away, you can’t go to the prom or wherever — for you to get to this point."
Hatcher was booked at the Lake County Jail, where she was processed and turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
