Police have referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct following the incident.
A teenage boy has died while riding an electric bike that smashed into a parked ambulance during a police chase.
Roads have been blocked off for a number of hours as serious collisions investigators remained at the scene. An ambulance with a smashed windscreen was pictured within the cordon. Moments later a 'collision occurred between the cyclist and the ambulance'. The teenager sadly died. The incident has now been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
