A teenager allegedly connected to the fire extinguisher assault of a Harlem traffic agent faced the music Wednesday.
Ammar Ahesheshi, 18, hung his head seemingly in shame while handcuffed as detectives escorted him out of the 28th Precinct stationhouse on May 29 to face arraignment on assault charges.According to police sources, Alhesheshi was allegedly responsible for driving the gray sedan that pulled up alongside the marked police vehicle of an on-duty, uniformed 43-year-old male traffic enforcement agent on St. Nicholas Avenue and West 118th Street just before 7 a.m. on May 23.
The teens sped away northbound on St. Nicholas Avenue, authorities said — leaving the agent with severe eye irritation. He was later treated at St. Luke’s Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.
