The search is on for two suspects linked to a drive-by shooting in Snohomish County that occurred late Saturday afternoon that left a 17-year-old fighting for his life in the hospital.
Neighbors said hearing gunshots in this area is not unusual, so when they heard the gunshots Saturday, they didn’t think much of it until they heard the police response right outside their homes. “I was working in the backyard, and I heard three shots boom boom boom,” Steve Scheaffer, who lives nearby the shooting scene, said.
“He was telling the police, and he said that the car had been driving down the street, and the victim was across the street, but the car pulled over like they knew the victim,” Scheaffer said.“The victim came across the street, and just as he got to the back of the car, the passenger jumped out and was shooting at the victim, and I think he started to run away, but he was shot in the chest,” Scheaffer said.
