A teenage girl was found unresponsive at Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday A teenage girl who was pulled from a Florida theme park pool has died. Anna Beaumont, 13, was discovered in one of multiple pools at Discovery Cove in Orlando late morning on Tuesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to reports shortly before 11.30am and rushed the teen in critical condition to a nearby hospital.
’ A Discover Cove spokesperson stated that its ‘staff responded to an emergency involving a guest’ and that they contacted Orange County Fire & Rescue. ‘When emergency personnel arrived, they took over care and transported the guest to a nearby hospital,’ the spokesperson told WESH. Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an unresponsive teen on Tuesday morning ‘Our thoughts are with this family, and out of respect for their privacy, we won’t be commenting further.
