Zaina said it was heartbreaking that Ryder had her 'first encounter of being on the side of getting a racist slur.' Later, Cheyenne met with Cory to discuss the incident and her plan to get advice on how to help Ryder. Cheyenne told Cory about the group Color Of Change that helps parents educate themselves on how to speak properly to children about racial issues.
Cheyenne, Zach, Cory and Taylor later participated in a group video call with Brittany Hogan from Color of Change and asked for advice on how to talk to Ryder without shattering her innocence. 'You know how mommy's always telling you to be an advocate for yourself and to stand up for yourself? That's the same thing. Sometimes you can stand up for yourself, and sometimes you help to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves,' Cheyenne told Ryder as they read the book.

'So the best thing to do, I think, to help her would be just to, like, let her talk about it. Just listen. Mainly listen to her,' Corey told the twins.'Well, it's probably not going to happen right now, but I'm sure it's something that we can explore in the future. You know?,' Leah said.
