The nine-month-old baby girl had bed bug bites, lice, scabies and OPIOIDS in her system
A TEEN mum has been arrested after her neglected baby was found with bed bug bites, lice, scabies and opioids in her system, police said.
Mum Maria Vasquez, 18, was arrested on Sunday after her baby daughter tested positive for opioids, according to KOKH. However, according to a police report, “no candy was found” and “nothing was found to be obstructing [the victim’s] airway.”While police were at the hospital they were told that the child's pupils were constricted.Vasquez told police she was asleep at her brother’s girlfriend’s apartment when she was woken up by another brother who asked why the baby’s lips were blue.
Paramedics met Vasquez and her sister in a car park of Golden Chick Restaurant and transported the child to the hospital.
