The crash happened today, Tuesday, October 31, at Woodside Street in Coatbridge at around 7:45am.
A teenage pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after a collision with a car on a Scots road this morning.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene and a 19-year-old woman, the pedestrian, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. Her condition is described as serious but stable and nobody else was injured in the incident.Sergeant Stewart Taylor said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the crash.
Anyone who can assist is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0488 of Tuesday, 31 October, 2023.
