Teenage girl raped in Preston as police appeal for dog walker who 'disturbed' attacker
Lancashire Constabulary said the horrific attack happened in the Highgate Park area of Fulwood. It took place between 1pm and 4pm on August 6.
Detectives believe the suspect was disturbed by a woman walking her dog nearby. They have today launched an appeal 'to trace her to see if she can provide information for our investigation'.A police force spokesperson said: "We are investigating the rape of a teenage girl in the Highgate Park area of Fulwood, Preston. The incident happened between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, August 6.
"We think the suspect was disturbed by a woman walking her dog nearby and we would like to trace her to see if she can provide information for our investigation. Anyone with information, please contact 101, quoting log 0011 of August 8."
