The incident happened at around 10.55pm on Wednesday, January 1. Officers received reports of a 15-year-old boy riding an electric bike found seriously injured on Aurs Drive, Barrhead.
An investigation has been launched after a teenager was found seriously injured in Barrhead on New Years day.
Aurs Drive is closed between the junctions of Arthurlie Street and Kelvin Drive with Police Scotland urging drivers to avoid the area. Detective Inspector Ross Jamieson said: “Officers remain at the scene while we work to establish exactly what has happened.
