A teenage boy was rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after sustaining injuries in an alleged stabbing in Johnstone. Police say enquiries remain ongoing.
A teenager was rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after an alleged stabbing in the Johnstone area.
Officers and emergency crew rushed to the scene in Renfrewshire and a 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment. The victim was allegedly stabbed during an "altercation" near Thorn Court in Johnstone on September 13 at around 12.25pm. An 18-year-old was arrested following the incident however, has since been released pending further investigation.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: " Around 12.25pm on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023, police were called to a report of a teenage boy being injured during an altercation near to Thorn Court, Johnstone.
"Emergency services attended and the 16-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.
