A group of five underage girls who went viral after videos surfaced of them attacking train staff, passengers, and police officers during an alcohol-fueled rampage have been spared jail time. The girls, who cannot be named, admitted to affray and assaults, throwing punches, headbutts, and ripping out hair during the hour-long incident at Barnham railway station in West Sussex. A judge acknowledged the girls' 'relentless' and 'completely out of control' behavior, describing it as 'chaos, mayhem, bedlam.' While the girls would have faced imprisonment if they were older, the judge considered their young ages and claimed the attacks were out of character. One of the girls was even described as an exemplary student and former head girl at her school.
