A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to terrorism and criminal damage offences after daubing Nazi symbols on a mural honouring the Windrush generation in South Wales.

The teenager from Port Talbot, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with five terrorism offences after an investigation into his online activities. Those charges included three counts of disseminating terrorist material and two counts of possessing material likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

The other offences were two counts of racially aggravated criminal damage to the Windrush mural in Port Talbot and one count of homophobically aggravated criminal damage inThe mural depicts Donna Campbell, a nurse and daughter of the Windrush generation who died during the pandemic, along with her mother Lydia.Read more from Sky News:
