A teenage boy, and a man aged in his 60s, have lost their lives in two separate road traffic collisions in Northern Ireland.

Jack Morrow, who was 17, died after a red VW Golf crashed on the Banbridge Road in Rathfriland, Co Down, at around 2.30am on Saturday.

It comes after a man aged in his 60s died in a crash in Poyntzpass, which happened on the Newry Road at around 6.30pm on Friday.Emergency crews attended but the driver of a grey Peugeot 207 died at the scene. They said no other injuries were reported. “Sadly, the driver of grey coloured Peugeot 207 died at the scene due to his injuries. There are no reports of any other serious injuries at this time.
