An arrest has been made
We previously reported that police and paramedics were called to Marmion Road in Cumbernauld on Friday evening following an alleged assault.Cops have now confirmed that an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a 20-year-old man having been assaulted in the Marmion Road area of Cumbernauld around 8.30pm on Friday, June 30, 2023.“An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and has been released on an undertaking to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday, July 28, 2023.”
