A teenager who was searched by cops in Glasgow has reportedly been caught carrying a sword.
Officers from the force's Divisional Violence Reduction Unit were carrying out patrols in the city centre on Saturday night when they stopped and searched a 16-year-old boy. They say that when they conducted a search of the teen, they found a sword with an 18-inch blade on his person.has been contacted for further information.
On Saturday night, DVRU officers patrolling within Glasgow city centre carried out a stop search on a 16 year old male who was found to be carrying this sword with an 18 inch blade. Male arrested and will appear in court at a later date.
