A tragic incident in Andover, Hampshire, has claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy. The teenager was struck by a car driven by a suspected drug driver on Saturday evening.

A 15-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car driven by a suspected drug driver in Andover , Hampshire. The teenager was walking on New Street at 6pm on Saturday when he was struck by a Ford Fiesta. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly died. A 29-year-old woman from Andover was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs and has since been released on bail.

People have expressed their shock and condolences online, with many sending their thoughts to the boy's family and friends
