A teenager has died after a crash on the A605 near Barnwell. The incident happened on Friday, March 10, at about 5.15pm. A black Ford KA, travelling southbound, was the only vehicle involved.
The driver, a 19-year-old man, died at the scene, near Oundle, said Northamptonshire Police. A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
Many residents have left tributes on the Facebook post for the man who lost his life. One person said: "Another heartbreaking tragedy. Sending condolences to family, friends and police officers involved."Another said: "Very sad to hear this, sending sincere condolences to his family and friends, RIP young man."
One person added: "Such sad news. R.I.P to the young man, life was just beginning, my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones."
