A 17-year-old was rushed to hospital
A teenager has been left in a serious condition after he was 'stabbed' on a Paisley road yesterday, July 14.
Emergency services closed off Caledonia Street at around 1.40pm after they received reports of a serious assault on a male. Ambulance crews were also on the scene, and they blue-lighted a 17-year-old to hospital for treatment to his serious injuries, which are believed to be cause by a stabbing.Forensic teams have been pictured sweeping the area, while a blue tent has also been put up outside some flats on the street. Police Scotland say they are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Friday, July 14, 2023, officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Caledonia Street, Paisley. “A 17-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries. Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
