Teenager seriously assaulted on Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street as police hunt suspects
Police have launched an investigation after a teenager was seriously assaulted on Sauchiehall Street.
An 18-year-old man was subsequently rushed to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he's being treated for lacerations. Medics describe his current condition as 'stable'.Police have now issued descriptions of the suspects say the attack may be linked to an earlier incident at the nearby Savoy nightclub.
"Around 1.55am on Sunday morning, police were called to a report of a disturbance on Sauchiehall Street at Hope Street. Police and Ambulance attended and an 18-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for lacerations. Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.
"The second suspect is described as white with short, dark hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, black jogging trousers and black trainers. He wore a yellow band around his wrist."
