Royal National College for the Blind Student, Freya Gavin celebrates A Level results secures a university place
Freya Gavin lost her sight in her third year of secondary school after joining Chorlton High School in 2016, and has since learned new ways to complete her courses.
Throughout her time at the college, she was able to achieve some fantastic grades that include an C in A Level Psychology, a B in AS Sociology, as well a D*D* in Sporting Excellence and Performance. She was able to showcase her love for sport, when she set herself an ambitious EPQ project, where she was able to secure an A, organising and fundraising her participation in the Manchester Marathon, finishing with a time of 5:09:31.
