Four teenagers initially arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of Noah Smedley in Ilkeston have been released. Smedley was fatally stabbed on December 28th. A fifth 17-year-old boy remains charged with murder and is set to stand trial in July.
Derbyshire police say four teenagers who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released. Noah Smedley, 18, was fatally stabbed in Rose Avenue, Ilkeston, on Saturday evening.
A fifth 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with murder on Tuesday, December 31. He appeared at Derby Crown Court on Friday, January 3 and was told he will face trial at the same court on July 28.
