Police allege three 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old tried to carjack an Uber driver at knifepoint and attempted to steal their car. 9News

Police said three 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old called an Uber from Elanora to take them to Currumbin, on the southern Gold Coast, about 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Officers alleged as the journey was coming to an end, one of the boys pulled a large knife on the driver and demanded they get out of the car.An Uber driver was allegedly held at gun pint by a group of teenagers in the Gold Coast last night.CCTV appears to show one of the boys holding a knife before they're all filmed running down a street in an industrial part of Currumbin.

Police alleged the boys were picked up by another driver, who they believe knew them, and taken to a home in Palm Beach.Charges have not been laid and the investigation continues.Continue reading
