Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) has announced an increase in car parking charges from April 7, 2023. The trust cited rising costs as the reason for the hike, stating it is necessary to cover expenses associated with operating and maintaining car parks. The changes will affect both patients and visitors and include a new £4 fee for up to one hour parking, £5 for up to two hours, £6.50 for up to three hours, £7.50 for up to four hours, and £9.50 for 24 hours. SaTH assures that current concessions for patients and their relatives, such as blue badge holders and those receiving renal dialysis or cancer treatment, will remain unaffected.
