The school confirms it will be called New Road Academy for the start of the next academic year.
A secondary school has announced it will be changing its name from the start of the next academic year.
The Learning Community Trust , which runs the school, said the name was chosen by students after a consultation process involving staff and parents. “Ambition drives us to excel and achieve greatness, pushing boundaries and reaching new heights. Our students will be inspired to dream big, and work hard to turn those dreams into reality,” she said.
