The swimming pool, health suite, and changing area are to close from 23 September.
'Significant' investments are to get underway at a leisure centre in September, in an effort to make the building more energy efficient.
Work at the Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre, Telford, includes new heating, roof and wall insulation, work on its swimming pool, and improvements to the health suite and changing rooms.The centre's pool, health suite, and changing areas will temporarily close from 23 September, and work should finish by summer 2025.
It added that families with children who were enrolled in swimming lessons would be offered alternative provision. "Our commitment to increase our energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint across our leisure portfolio is evident through these major investment works," said councillor Carolyn Healy.
