Dramatic moment Spanish police arrest ten Britons in cocaine smuggling ring bust. Spanish police announced the takedown of a major network transporting cocaine into Europe by boat in an international operation involving 50 arrests.
The international cartel is believed to have trafficked drugs from South America to Europe on Yachts.
Ten British nationals have been arrested in connection with a £96million cocaine smuggling ring. Seven were expats arrested in Spain and Portugal and a further three were living in the UK The NCA said the gang was led by a Norwegian believed to have been trading in drugs for more than two decades. In connection with the smuggling operation, 52 people have been arrested. Meanwhile goods have been seized including eight boats, 36 vehicles, as well as firearms and ammunition seized
Three women from Boston, Lincolnshire, aged 19, 38, and 28, who were all living in Malaga were arrested.
