Manchester United fans were left frustrated by Erik ten Hag's late substitutions during their 1-1 draw against FC Twente in the Europa League. Despite taking an early lead through Christian Eriksen, United conceded a late equalizer and several key players were taken off with ten minutes remaining.

Marcus Rashford was once again at his best throughout the first-half and it looked like United would extend their lead as the likes of Joshua Zirkzee impressed in attacking areas.But after a slow start to the second period, FC Twente equalised in the 68th minute after former Rangers forward Sam Lammers capitalised on a poor touch from Eriksen.
Mason Mount came on for Zirkzee, who looked dangerous throughout, whilst Marcus Rashford and Christian Eriksen were also brought off for Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount respectively. A second said: "Ten Hag takes too long to make subs and it’s costing us games," whilst another commented: "Ten Hag and his poorly times subs. Should have subbed Eriksen at the 60th minute. Today we paid dearly."
