A disturbing video circulating online captures the alleged assault of a group of teenage boys by three men on a residential street in Armadale , West Lothian, Scotland . The footage, recorded by a doorbell camera and shared on social media, shows a confrontation escalate into a physical altercation on Saturday evening, February 1, 2025, at around 8pm. Two teenage boys are walking down the street when three men run towards them.
A scuffle ensues, and one of the men, described as bald, appears to aggressively grapple with a teenager, throwing him to the ground and pinning him. Another minor altercation takes place between an adult wearing a yellow hat and a youth. The bald man then grabs the previously pinned teenager by his clothing and ragdolls him, before unleashing a violent barrage of punches aimed at the youth's face and body. The footage becomes difficult to discern, but it's unclear if the youths retaliate. The adult in the yellow hat attempts to intervene but is pulled away by the other men. A social media post by one of the men involved attempts to justify their actions, claiming they were looking for their phone, stolen earlier in the evening by a group of young males. They alleged that they encountered the same individuals at Bathville Cross and an argument broke out, during which one of their friends was attacked. However, a parent of one of the attacked youths defended their child, stating they were not involved in the alleged earlier mugging. Police Scotland has confirmed that they are aware of the video and that inquiries are ongoing
