The Canaryfly plane was carrying passengers from Gran Canaria to Lanzarote. But passengers were put through a frightening ordeal as it came in to landThis is the terrifying moment a passenger plane bounced uncontrollably on a runway as it came in to land on a Spanish holiday island yesterday.
With the camera looking down the tarmac and the plane's wheels just meters above it, everything suggests the landing will be a routine one. On the third bounce, the plane kicks up high into the air, banks and twists at a gut-wrenching angle before it's flown back down for one final attempt. As soon as the wheels touched down, the plane began bouncing uncontrollably, before skimming like a stone in slow-motion down the runway
In one incident, the landing gear snapped off a plane bound for the United States after it was forced to turn back and carry out an emergency landing in May.
