A malfunction on the Super Trooper ride left 25 passengers dangling
The "terrifying" moment a ride at Skegness Pleasure Beach came to a halt and left people dangling in mid-air has been caught on camera. Members of the public were urged to avoid the area on Tuesday evening as emergency services rushed to help those stranded on the Super Trooper ride.
One eyewitness said the moment was "absolutely terrifying". They added: "While it was still moving slowly, a little lad tried to climb out of it through sheer terror very high up and putting his arm out to who I assume was his parent - it was absolutely heart breaking to witness."Another eyewitness named Chloe, 23, said she saw her brother "dangle in the air for over two hours" before eventually being rescued by firefighters.
