The Arsenal women’s football team plane has burst into flames following their Champions League semi-final.
Photos taken at Braunschweig Wolfsburg Airport show the flames emerging from the aircraft, before passengers were evacuated.Credit:Nobody was injured in the fire, and the team, which includes Australian football star Steph Catley, was put in a nearby hotel for the evening.“Our aircraft developed a technical issue prior to take-off in Germany on Sunday evening,” the statement said.
