Mason Mount joined Man Utd from Chelsea in a controversial move this summer
The boyhood Blues fan left Stamford Bridge in the summer after a long stand-off with the club around his contract. United swooped in and, after a long period of negotiation, agreed a £55million deal.
“Mase is proper Chels through and through," Terry said. "There's always two sides to a story and I know the other side to it. "I’m not going to air that tonight but there’s another side to the story. Let’s not be too harsh on Mason when he comes back [to Stamford Bridge with Man Utd].”
