Customers at Tesco , Asda and other supermarkets are being urged to return certain items for a full refund due to ongoing product recalls by these UK retail giants.
Tesco and Morrisons AB World Foods Ltd continues to recall its AlFez natural tahini due to the detection of Salmonella in the product. This product recall has been extended to include more best-before-end dates and an additional pack size, reports the Liverpool Echo. Sainsbury's Sainsbury's has issued a recall for several children's sleepsuits due to choking concerns. The items in question include the three-pack boys "snack print sleepsuits multicoloured", the "grey dippy egg single zip through sleepsuit" and the "unisex two-pack value overhead sleepsuit multicoloured".
The reason for the recall is that the set does not comply with the EN 13758-2 sun-safe standard as stipulated by the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The affected barcodes are 505919724473, 505919724475, 505919724477, 505919724479, 505919724501, 505919724503, 505919724505, and 505919724507.
