Tesco makes a huge change in stores
SUPERMARKET giant Tesco is set to sell Paperchase branded items in stores after buying the brand.Paperchase collapsed into administration yesterday but Tesco has major plans for the brandis still looking for ways to fill spaces in bigger stores after its decision to stop selling electronics last year.
The move was a massive change by the supermarket as it axed electrical aisles in favour of stocking more popular homeware ranges such as Mrs Hinch and Fox & Ivy. Tesco now plans to sell Paperchase branded notebooks and stationery accessories, alongside other in-store brands. It particularly wants to focus on ranges that are exciting for customers, giving them another reason to go into stores.
