It is worth checking to make sure you are not at risk
Several major supermarket chains have issued an urgent message to customers after fears over unsafe foods items.
Not every item on there will be harmful to everyone, especially in the case of allergies, but it is worth checking to make sure you are not at risk. Full details of the affected products have been listed on the FSA website, including their picture, pack size, used by date and in some cases batch code.
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to molluscs, do not eat it. Instead return it to your local Waitrose branch for a full refund. For more information contact Waitrose Customer Care 0800 188 884, Option 4." Garlic Morrisons is continuing to recall Morrisons Crushed Garlic because an ingredient has been omitted from the product that prevents microbiological growth and therefore presents a potential risk to consumers. The product details are:The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."
