Tesco has launched a new sandwich that's taking shoppers by storm. The supermarket is now selling a ham, egg and chips sandwich for £3, inspired by the old English favourite, the chip butty.
Another pleased customer said: "It's the next best thing to being down the caff. It tasted great! Have it with builder's tea! " Some people, however, were less thrilled about having cold potato in their sandwich, querying: "Who thought this would be a good combo?"The sandwich packs a punch with 421 calories, containing over a quarter of your daily recommended salt intake and nearly a fifth of your recommended fat intake .
